How to reach

Reaching Bordi is easy and convenient by any mode of transport. Bordi is conveniently located from major cities.

By air – Bordi does not have an airport. However, there are airports in cities near Bordi like Mumbai and Daman. From here you can take a bus or taxi and reach Bordi.

By rail – The Dahanu railway station is close to Bordi, and one can easily reach the station from various parts of the country. It is just 15 km from Bordi.

Bordi also has a rich history as well. There were several rulers who have ruled over the place. There is also the Dahanu fort that traces its roots from over 400 years back. The fort is still in a good condition, and one can enjoy the view from a top.

In Bordi you can see a large number of Parsi people, and that is why you can also find great Parsi food here. You can enjoy Dhansak, chicken Farcha, Saas ni Machhi, etc. Besides, here you can also find Konkani cuisines like fish, chicken, and mutton, prepared in Konkani style. Restaurants here provide some of the best food and people love the unique flavor and the seafood that is prepared in the unique local style. Enjoy the Crazy crab restaurant, which serves hot and delicious seafood. The Shiv Panipuri serves great snacks in the evenings where you see a lot of crowds.
