Summer – The summer begins in March and ends in May. The temperature is very high during this time and reaches almost 42 degree Celsius.
Monsoons – After the scorching heat, the monsoons bring pleasant climate and cool winds. There are heavy rains here, and that is why the sea too is rough and not recommended for any activities. The monsoons begin in June and end by October.
Winter – Winter begins in November and lasts through February. The temperature is low and provides a cool and pleasant climate.

Air –The nearest airport is only 30 km from Ganapatipule and is located in Ratnagiri. There are regular flights here from Mumbai and Pune. One can easily reach Mumbai and from there are buses, taxis, railways, etc. to reach Ganapatipule.
Railway –The nearest railway station is at Ratnagiri and Bhoke. Many trains stop on this route and from there one can take a taxi and bus to reach Ganapatipule, which is just 50 km away. The train connects to various parts of the country.
Bus –By road Mumbai is 375 km and Pune is 331 km. There are regular buses that run from various metro cities like Kolhapur, Goa, Pen, etc. Ganapatipule lies on the national highway no. 17, which has a good connectivity to other cities.
