Ganapatipule

Ganapatipule is a pilgrimage town with lots of pilgrims visiting the place for different festivals and fairs. The Swayambhu Ganesh temple is the most popular temple here, which is around 400 years old and is visited by thousands of pilgrims every year. Jaigad is another interesting fort that was built in the 17th century and is around 15 km from Ganapatipule. From here you can view the stunning evening vies of the sea and the setting sun. It is now in ruins, but you can see the confluence of river Sangameshwar and the Arabian Sea.
