Summer: Average temperature of 33℃ is experienced in the summers with the weather being hot and humid. April and May are the hottest months with temperatures dropping by June as the rains begin.
Monsoon: The months from June to September mark the rainy season with an average rainfall of 30 cm annually. July sees the peak of rainfall with 50 cm of rain. Weather is cooler in comparison with heavy moisture in the air.
Winter: By the end of October the season of winter commences and thus starts the best time to visit Shrivardhan. Hop on to a state bus or private bus transport that will take you to Shrivardhan from all major cities of the state. The ride is close to 5 hours from Mumbai or Pune. You can also get your own vehicle, which makes it convenient to move around the close by areas.
Mangaon is the closest railway station on the Konkan railway that is 45kms away from Shrivardhan. A number of trains running from major cities like Mumbai, Madgaon, Ernakulam, and Bikaner halt here. From Mangaon, you will need to hire a taxi or take a bus further to Shrivardhan.
