3. Irshalgad Fort Trek
Irshalgad Fort is located on a hill, and the grade of the trek is quite complicated, the base village is Irshalwadi from where the trek commences. Drinking water is not available during the trek.

6. Vasota Fort Trek
It was protected by Tai Telin, a mistress of Pant Pratinidhi, a killer of the fort when he was apprehended. Vasota fort is associated with the Kolhapur Shilahara Chief Bhoja II of Panhala from 1178 to 1193. Vasota constantly remained with Shirkes, Marathas, and Mores during the 16th century. It is a nice adventure of trekking from the jungle to Vasota Fort, particularly when one reaches the roof of the Fort in the early morning to get an impressive view of sunrise.

7. Lohagad Trek
Lohagad Pune overlooks the Pawna lake discovered to the south of the cliff. The cliff expands to the North-Western part to a fortified ground which is known as Vinchu Kata Scorpion’s tail. It’s called so because of its resembling contour. Lohagad has four large gates which are still in good condition and relatively intact. This palace has been declared as a protected monument by the Archaeology Survey of India. It is one of the best trekking paths near Mumbai and Pune for newcomers.
